ELIOBI
ELIOBI is a monumental kinetic and solar sculpture. It has specially been built for this exhibition. This mobile sculpture is propelled by an electric engine powered by two solar panels. More than a purely formal research, and thus aesthetic, this work of art is meant to be a reflexion on Man’s position in his environnement, battling against buzzing news of disasters of every kind and ineffable hopes.
Technical information :
Built from sandblast steel, it is a 410 cm high, without its footing and 400 cm wide. Equipped by a Maxon swiss electric planetary engine ELIOBI is powered by two solar panels of 85 watts each.
